The farm, which will be sold at auction in three lots, comes with a traditional residence and two farmyards. The sale is being guided by Denis Howell, of Warren Estates, at 9,000/ac, or close to 700,000.
An auction of a 90ac farm at Tullyhill, Rathshane, Castletown-Finea, Co Westmeath, could spark some action from those waiting for the right place into action. The land is being sold with full planning for a 5,500sqft residence and 4,000 a year in forestry premiums.
Trim auctioneer Thomas Potterton is quoting a guide price of 350,000-360,000, or 3,900-4,000/ac for the property. The auction takes place at the Property Exchange, Trim, at 3pm on Tuesday, April 17.
