In summary, Teagasc�s topline view on the sector states that, 2012 is likely to see an increase in margins on drystock farms. Margins on cereals farms will be dependent on harvest yields, while on dairy farms margins are forecast to decline. In the pig sector, financial margins are set to remain very tight until the end of the year.
