DAIRY SALE - FRIDAY, ORGANIC SALE - SATURDAY

AT KILMALLOCK

900 Stock went under the hammer this week
at Kilmallock. Trade continues to be very
strong. On Monday Bullocks sold for up to
€1,300 each or €2.58 per kg. Dry cows hit
€1,120 a head or €1.84 per kg. Heifers sold
for up to €1,090 each or €2.17 per kg. Heavy
Bulls made up to €1,640 each. Runners made
up to €610 this week. On Tuesday weanling
Bulls made up to €970 each or €2.74 per kg.
Weanling Heifers made up to €830 or €2.56
per kg. On this Friday November 26 th a
Special Sale of Dairy Stock will be held at
11.30am. Up to 100 winter and spring calvers
will be on offer. On this Saturday November
27 th , the final Organic Sale of the year will be
held at 11am. Over 200 Organic Stock will be
on offer.

There will be a Weanling Sale Every Tuesday Evening
until early December at Kilmallock. Intake from 2pm
Sale starts at 6pm.

We thank all who had their cattle in the yard
early last Monday and ask that cattle come early
for the next few weeks.

NB: Note from the 1 st September all Calves over 42
days will need to be T.B tested. Purchasers: Please
