Castlerea Mart Market report re sale 19/05/22
The numbers of stock presented for sale for the time of year remain high with over 600 animals presented for sale on Thursday last. Trade and prices in all 3 rings remain boyounant with forward cattle in particular reaching some very high prices.
The bullock ring saw prices peak at €2320 with the heifers reaching €1880 while the dry cows topped out at €2810 with a good clearance taking place in all 3 rings.
