MAN ARRESTED RE WESTMEATH LIVESTOCK THEFT
A man in his 30's hass been arrested by Garda in relation to the theft of 100 animals from a Kilbeggan, Co Westmeath farm last June.
Around 24th/25th June last livestock estimated to value over €100,000 were removed from a farm near n Kilbeggan, Co Westmeath which included 75 cattle and 25 sheep. The animals were stolen overnight from a farm at Cornaher,Tyrrellspass, Co. Westmeath.
The arrest took placeon Thursday 22nd October and the man was detained at Athlone Garda Station.
