Irish are studying Innovation in Food Marketing in New Zealand

The Irish are studying New Zealand innovations in food marketing.
A beef and lamb group from Ireland's Bord Bia food board were on a study visit in Southland last week, and visited Alliance Group shareholder Andrew Tripp's farm and the Lorneville plant.
Bord Bia sheep sector manager Declan Fennell said the trip was to gain an insight into New Zealand's beef and lamb production at both farm and processing levels.
"We are also looking at the wider processing and retail sector, in terms of links to brand and marketing success, such as kiwifruit. We're particularly interested in seeing the principles of marketing innovation here and what we can learn from that, and also what we can share in terms of what Ireland is doing in terms of marketing and sustainability."
