Farming Deaths number in 2017 rises to 5.

The death toll in farm accidents in 2017 has risen to five as reports are coming in of an elderly mans death in Co. Offaly yesterday evening ( Wednesday).
The discovery took place, at approx 9pm on Wednesday, of a body of a man in his early 80s on farming in Coole, Rhode, Co. Offaly and was prounced dead.
The HSA ( Health and Safety Authority) indicate an investigation has begun. Meanwhile the remains were taken to the Regional Hospital in Tullamore.
