The mart trade continues to surpass even the most optimistic expectations, with prices showing further improvements throughout the past week.
A scarcity of numbers allied to the excellent weather is helping in no small way.
Stores showing a bit of quality are the pick of a vibrant trade across all categories, with more than �3/kg being achieved.
First-calved and young dairy cows are generally making �1,300-1,700, with many top milkers hitting the �2,000 mark and beyond. Sucklers with a calf at foot are selling for �1,600-1,900, with cows yet to calve making �1,000-1,800
