To do so, they adopted a precise and demanding method. Most importantly, the work took place at night. But that is not all. Researchers also observed a snake capable of gliding between rocks. In parallel, several geckos are still being studied, revealing an <strong>exceptional faunal diversity<\/strong> in a space that is nevertheless limited.<\/p>\n<p>Scientists have also identified two micro-snails and two millipedes. Admittedly, these species are tiny. Yet they remain essential to ecological balance. Limestone extraction constitutes a major threat. It irreversibly destroys entire habitats. Consequently, it endangers a <strong>fragile and localized biodiversity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In parallel, deforestation and fires worsen the situation. Tourism also exerts growing pressure. These activities disrupt natural balances.
