While these <strong>fish<\/strong> typically present a fairly stout silhouette, thanks to substantial fat reserves that help them endure the icy temperatures of the region, an increasing number of individuals exhibit body fat three times lower than normal.<\/p>\n<section class=\"incontent-related\"><span class=\"incontent-related__title\">Lire aussi<\/span> <span class=\"incontent-related__desc\">Le cheval de Przewalski fait son grand retour avec une naissance historique au c\u0153ur des steppes du Kazakhstan<\/span><\/section>\n<p>In 2015, about 3% of the gray trout caught were considered \u201czombies.\u201d Ten years later, more than 50% of the specimens fished at Superior Maximus, the deepest point of the world\u2019s largest freshwater lake, are affected.<\/p>\n<p>According to biologist Shawn Sitar, the siscowets are markedly less fished than trout species living near shorelines.
