Thanks to thermal cameras, researchers have recently obtained a rare glimpse.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cryptic Fauna<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Perched high in the canopy, arboreal mammals are essentially nocturnal. Add to this dense foliage and environments that are often difficult to access, and you understand why many of these species rank among the least studied in tropical latitudes.
