Bullocks hit €2010 per head at Kilmallock

600 Stock were sold at Kilmallock this week. Prices
remain very strong for every type of animal from Calf to
Beef. Bullocks sold for up to €2010 each or €2.50 per kg.
Dry cows hit €1170 each or €1.74 per kg. Heifers sold for
up to €1620 each or €2.40 per kg. Calves made up to
€490 each. Factory bulls sold for up to €1200. Dairy
stock sold for up to €1520 each.

From this Monday June 21 st Dairy Stock will be sold on
Monday’s.

Covid-19 – Arrangements

Buyers only will be allowed into the ring and all intending buyers must register with the
mart in advance of the sale. They must also register with the mart if they wish to view

animals before sale.

Sellers can enter the seller’s box only for the sale of their animals. Otherwise, they must

stay in their vehicles.

All sales will be streamed live on the internet and livestock can also be purchased online.

Sales will be conducted in accordance with HSE and Department of Agriculture protocols
and guidelines. This includes wearing a mask and social distancing of 2 metres
throughout the mart. No congregating of people will be allowed anywhere on the mart
