Huge Demand for 73 Pens of Bullocks.

Very big Sales (1050 Stock) and excellent prices told
the story of Kilmallock this week. There were 73 pens
of Bullocks and 100 Runners/Calves on offer last
Monday, and 250 Dry cows and heifers on
Wednesday. Tuesday 8 Th September saw 120
weanlings on offer.
Bullock (Sale over at 2.45) sold for up €1260 each or
€2.36 per kg. Runner sold for up €520 each and Calves
hit €350. Dry cows hit €1370 each or €1.64 per kg.
Heifers made up to €1290 each or €2.47 per kg. Dairy
Stock sold for up €1300 each. Factory Bulls made up
to €1100 a head and Sucklers hit €1660 per Unit.
Weanling Bulls sold for up to €940 or €3.21 per kg,
and weanling heifers hit €940 each or €2.53 per kg.
