Second Weekly Calf sale at Kilmallock

Over 1000 Cattle & Calves were sold at Kilmallock on
Monday Last. 125 Buyers purchased Stock and Trade
was very strong. Bullocks sold for up to €1360 each or
€2.26 per kg. Bullocks sold for up to 1360 each or €2.26
per kg. Weanlings hit €1050 each or €2.74 per kg. Dry
cows made up to €1250 each or €1.85 per kg. Heifers
sold for up to €1070 each or €2.23 per kg. Dairy Stock
on Tuesday hit €1920. An unbelievable €670 was paid in
the Calf Ring Sucklers made up to €1300 Per Unit.

From this Wednesday February 24 th a Second Weekly
Calf Sale will be held at 6.45pm in take from 2.30 pm
Onwards.

As sales are getting bigger, we would ask sellers to bring
stock as early as possible. Cattle in Take is open at 8am.
Calf intake Open 7 am.

No Pre booking required just Drop & Go.

All potential Buyers must contact the Mart office in advance to

arrange and get approval to view livestock
