Strong Calf trade at Kilmallock

Close on 500 Calves and 350 cattle were on offer at
Kilmallock on Monday last. Over 50 buyers purchased
Calves trade was excellent for calves of all types. The
cattle trade was improved on last week and there were
a 99% clearance. Bullocks sold for up to €1130 each or
€2.41 per kg. Weanlings made up to €810 each or €2.39
per kg. Dry cows hit €1330 each or €1.60 per kg. Heifers
sold for up to €1300 each or €2.56 per kg. Calves hit
€390 for 3-week-old calves. Sucklers sold for up to €940
per Unit.
The Second Weekly Calf Sale will commence at
kilmallock on Wednesday February 24 th at 6.45 pm.

The Calf Sale on This Monday Will Commence at 10 am.
Intake from 7am onwards.

As sales are getting bigger, we would ask sellers to bring
stock as early as possible. Cattle in Take is open at 8am.
