Numbers back slightly on the week but trade improved especially for the quality bull weanlings and more farmers about. Some export activity in the heifer ring and bull ring for shipping. It was the lighter bulls under 300kgs and heifers around the 300kgs that were attracting this interest. A large entry of suckling stock created good interest and cows with calves at foot made to €2,000 and in-calf stock made to €1,550. Runners meet a very good trade again. Hoggets made up to €116 or to €2.27/kg. These were improved a few euro ahead on the week. Cull ewes generally made €80 to €130 per head.
