We had an 90% clearance of Dry Cows prices improving but more demand for heavier cows . The average price achieved was €1,175, with Cows ranging in price from €850 to €1,635 for a  Charolais Cow weighing 775 kg.

In-calf Cows

We had an 80% clearance of In-calf animals prices varied from €800 to €1,050.                     

Weanling trade improving

We had a 91% clearance of Male Weanlings but trade a bit improved. The average price for Male Weanlings under 300 kg average €746 with a maximum price of €900 for a 300 kg Limousin Male. Weanlings 301-400 kg  the average price achieved was €909 with a maximum price of €1,075 for a 390 kg Limousin Male Weanling. Weanlings 401-500 kg  the average price achieved was €975 with a maximum price of €1,180 for a 430 kg Charolais Male Weanling. Weanlings over 500 kg  the average price achieved was €1,162 with a maximum price of €1,200 for 575 kg Aberdeen Angus Male Weanling

 There was a 76% clearance of Female Weanlings. The average prices for Female Weanlings under 300kg was €683 with a maximum price of €830 for a Charolais Female weighing 295 kg. Weanlings 301-400 kg the average price achieved was €846 with a max price of €1,130 for a Limousin Female weighing 350 kg. Weanlings 401-500 kg the average price achieved was €999 with a max price of €1,205 for a Charolais Female weighing 480 kg.

Good clearance of Sheep

Sheep numbers up this week with 97% clearance of Lambs . Lambs 49 kg made €134. Lambs 51kg made €122.5, Lambs 60 kg made €117.Lambs  44.5kg made €113.50. Lambs 41.5kg made €107.
Culled Ewes 87% Clearance ranged from €46 to €141 and small number of breeders made from €130 to €232.
