Weanling trade very lively

We had a 92% clearance of Male Weanlings but trade much livelier. The average price for Male Weanlings under 300 kg average was €789 with a top price of €1,010 for a 285 kg Charolais Male. Male Weanlings 301-400 kg  the average price was €988 with a maximum price of €1,280 for 380 kg Belgian Blue Male Weanling. Male Weanlings 401-500 kg  the average price was €1,087 with a maximum price of €1,295 for 500 kg Charolais Male Weanling. Small number of Male Weanlings over 500Kg the average price was €1,316.00 with a Maximum Price of €1,430 for a 630kg Charolais Male.

There was a 84% clearance of Female Weanlings  and prices were very lively.The average prices for Female Weanlings under 300kg was €780 with a maximum price of €1,240 for 280 kg Charolais Weanling. Female Weanlings 301-400 kg averaged €900  with a max price of €1,200 for a Charolais Female weighing 385 kg. Female Weanlings 401-500 kg averaged €1,072  with a max price of €1,385 for a Charolais Female weighing 435 kg. Small number of Female Weanlings over 500Kg the average price was €1,340 with Maximum price of €1,535 for 505kg Limousin.

Dry Cows Cows

We had an 94% clearance of Dry Cows not much change in prices  but heavier cows holding the price well. The average price achieved was €1,106, with Cows ranging in price from €815 to €1670 for a Charolais Cow weighing 815 kg.

Good clearance of Sheep

Sheep numbers down this week with 94% clearance of Lambs . Lambs 54 kg made €121. Lambs 61 kg made €118, Lambs 52 kg made €115.50, Lambs 40kg €110,  Small number of store lambs made between 36kg made  €60.00.
Culled Ewes 90% Clearance ranged from €30 to €142 and small number of breeders made from €196 to €243.
