We had an 85% clearance of Dry Cows prices improving but more demand for heavier cows . The average price achieved was €1,152, with Cows ranging in price from €745 to €1,930 for a a Charolais Cow weighing 920 kg.

In-calf Cows

We had an 67% clearance of In-calf animals prices varied from €1,560 to €1,810.                     

Weanling trade improving

We had a 100% clearance of Male Weanlings but trade a bit improved. The average price for Male Weanlings under 300 kg average €615 with a maximum price of €735 for 265kg Charolais Male. Weanlings 301-400 kg  the average price was €936 with a maximum price of €1,170 for 400 kg Charolais Male Weanling. Male Weanlings 401-500 kg  the average price was €1,073 with a maximum price of €1,225 for 465 kg Charolais Male Weanling. 

 There was a 100% clearance of Female Weanlings. The average prices for Female Weanlings under 300kg was €749 with a maximum price of €840 for Limousin Female weighing 295kg. Weanlings 301-400 kg averaged €897 with a max price of €1,050 for a Limousin Female weighing 375 kg. 

Good clearance of Sheep

Sheep numbers up this week with 93% clearance of Lambs . Lambs 51 kg made €122. Lambs 45.5 kg made €120, Lambs 60 kg made €119. Spring Lamb ranged from €80 to €119.50 quality in demand.
Culled Ewes 100% Clearance ranged from €50to €145 and small number of breeders made from €145 to €215.

Good clearance of the better stock AA Bull weighing 535 kg made €1,900. Another AA Bull weighing 515 kg made €1,500. Simmental Bull 580kg made €1,300. Charolais Bull 860 Kg made €2,000.
