Castlerea Co-Operative livestock mart Ltd. Market Report re sale 07/10/21

A large entry of stock presented for sale on Thursday last as weather conditions deteriorated. Trade for quality lots remained firm with a good attendance of buyers present for all categories of stock. The heifer ring reported a good clearance with increased farmer activity while the weanling rings saw some very fancy prices paid for the quality lots. Breeding stock and dry cows remain unchanged while the runners were an improved trade.
