Castlerea Co-Operative Livestock Mart Ltd. Market Report Re sale 19/03/20

650 cattle on offer this week with the bullocks transferred onto Mondays sale, the vast majority of lots got sold on the day with restrictions in place due to Covid-19. The heifers reported no change in prices or trade from last week. In the weanling rings buyers were more selective with a variance in price between the quality lots and the plainer types. Breeding stock reported a very good trade while the dry cows and suck calves reported good clearances also.
