Wednesday last.
Trade was extremly
brisk throughout,which
resulted in some fine
prices been paid on
the day.

Sample price in the heifer weanlings went to a Limousine 260 kg made €900.00 or €3.46 per kg while the best price
on the day for a weanling bull went to a Charolais X 290 kg made a €960.00 or €3.31 per kg.
Weanling sales continue each Monday with the sale starting @11 am with pre booking on Thursday
morning from 9.00 am to 13.30 pm on 094 95 41140.
Cattle sales continue each Wednesday with pre booking on Friday Morning from 9.am on 094 95 41140.
A special continental heifer sale will take place on Wednesday next October 21 st
Sheep numbers remaining steady as is the trade. Store Lambs made from €55.00 to a €98.00, factory lambs made
from €100.00 to €114.00, ewe lambs made up to €136.00, feeding ewes made from €40.00 to €75.00, fat ewes made
from €80.00 to €95.00, and a pen of ewe hoggets made a €184.00.
Sheep sales continue every Thursday for store lambs and cull ewes.
All sheep are weighed and sold through the ring with an online system also in place.
