Vice President of China visits Sixmilebridge Farm The future leader of the world�s most populous nation is getting the royal treatment on his 3 day visit to Ireland and he is just back from talks with Mr Barak Obama.The man set to become president of China and chairman of the Communist Party arrived in Shannon from the US where he has spent the past week. A feature of this visit will be Sunday morning when Mr Xi, who was last in Ireland in 2005, will visit the farm of James and Maura Lynch at Sixmilebridge in Co Clare to see at first hand their herd of Friesian dairy cows and beef cattle. James was elected vice chairman of Dairygold Co Op last month. Lynch is from Cappa, Sixmilebridge, Co Clare. He was elected to the Dairygold board in 2008 from the Limerick region. An extensive dairy farmer, Mr Lynch who has been active locally in Macra, and is a board member of Co-operative Animal Health Ltd, Munster AI and the Irish Cattle Breeders Federation. In 2004, his farm became one of Dairygold�s first monitor farms. James and Maura Lynch have three children. The couple went to China in November as part of an Irish agricultural trade mission. The future president will also take in the sights at the Cliffs of Moher.
