Reward offered for stolen cattle Denis Corrigan, a farmer on the Tipperary/Limerick border has offered a reward for the return of 30,000 worth of cattle , consisting of 15 cows stolen from his farm at Newsport, Co Tipperary.
The theft was described as thieves arriving by lorry at 7.20pm on January 26th last and spend a number of hours loading 13 incalf coews and 2 heifers and eventually left at 2.20am.
The owner believes the cattle are now mixed in someones herd and that two of the cows would have now calved. The animals are described as cross -bred belgian blues and one pure Limousin.
Mr Corrigan believes this is widespread as knows of two seperate events in the Castleconnel area in recent times.
