Over 80,000 people at National Ploughing

A warm dry day and grey clouds brought out the highest attendance to date with 80,000 arriving at the National Ploughing Championship on day 1 of this 3 day event at Rathiniskea, Stradbally, Co. Laois.
Very well organised planning ensured traffic flowed with ease to and from the site. General feedback from exhibiting stands is that business is improving with more machinery and services being purchased by the farming community.
