Invest NI has given �16,000 of support to Northern Engineering for an onnovative device for tipping cows. The device will help farmers and vets to more easily check and medicate cows� feet.

The "Cow Tipper" is an innovative and improved hydraulic roll over crush bought to you by Northern Engineering. It is designed to reduce stress to both the animal and the operator. The use of an extended rump rail allows the operator to guide even the most stubborn animal easily into the crush. It is a "one man operation", four simple steps.
1. Guide the animal into the crush with the aid of an extendable rump rail.
2. Secure the animal's head with the hydraulic neck lock.
3. Secure the animal's body without suspending it with the hydraulic belly bands.
4. Turn the animal over onto its side so that all four feet are visible to be secured for inspection and treatment.
The Mobile crush is fitted with a high speed weight transfer axle, anti roll and torsion bars,
shocks and brakes which make the crush safe and steady on the road.

The robust galvanized frame is capable of tipping the heaviest of bulls and has also been tested successfully to tip donkeys and ponies.
