MACRA Presidential Candidates.
In the run up to Macra na Feirmes Kieran O'Dowds' end of office, a number of candidates have put their names forward for the race to replace him as President.
The 4 people who have indicated their intention to run for the top post in Macra are Eamon Cassells ( Athboy), Paddy Delaney ( Timahoe), Sean Finan ( Castlerea) and Michelle O'Callaghan (Knockraha),
Ms O'Callaghan is on the National Council and Executive. Mr Cassells holds the position of chairman of the competitions committtee. Mr Delay is Leinster vice president while Mr Finan is Macra treasurer.
