Laois Farmer wins DeLaval monitoring Camera
While DeLaval is well known to dairy farmers it does also supply other milk producers who include buffalo, goat and sheep farmers worldwide. Indeed there are a small number of goat and sheep producers in Ireland who have DeLaval milking parlours. So while it was unusual it was not a complete surprise that the winner of the valuable DeLaval FMC60 farm monitoring camera was Anthony Luttrell a sheep farmer from Waterfall, Vicarstown, Co. Laois.
The hi-tech DeLaval camera can be set-up in minutes, has a range of up to 1000 meters. An infra-red, night vision lamp NVL120, can also be installed. It can also be connected to the internet so Anthony can view images on his Smartphone.
The other lucky winners in the draw for the popular DeLaval jackets, T-shirts and baseball caps were Bryan Murphy, Tralee, Co. Kerry, John Ryan, Borris, Co. Carlow and Corey Wylie from Muff in Co. Donegal.
