MARGINAL FALL BACK IN PRICES DESPITE BREXIT FEARS
At Kilkenny Mart on Thursday 30th June, many farmers very worried prior to this sale regarding the outcome. The trade was firm with quality in demand and quality Friesian making in excess of €2.00 per kilo. Cow numbers were very small but quality continentals ranged from €1.75 to €2.00 per kilo. Heifer numbers were also well reduced. Alot of onlookers were pleased that the expected reduction in price was only marginal. Full Mart Report here...
